Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline (KMLP) entered into binding agreements with a new LNG customer for 1.0 BCf/d of firm transportation that will underpin its approximately $112 million Texas Access Project (TAP). TAP is designed to provide firm transportation service from Texas, including firm receipts from Trident, to new and existing markets in South Louisiana. KMLP has begun preliminary permitting work on the project, and assuming the timely receipt of all required permits and approvals, the project is expected to be placed in service in the second quarter of 2028.
